Oct.1, 2022, Bob Kirsch
Our 2022
Pace Car Reunion/Road Tour event is now history. For this event the
Registry visited the Northeast U.S., starting in Hershey PA and making our way to fabulous Atlantic
City, NJ.
There was an abundance of awesome automotive and historical attractions
our attendees experienced!
After the last 2 years of Covid isolation and canceled events it was
great to get out and once again visit with other Pace Car enthusiasts.
The
reunion followed our traditional event pattern and kicked-off on a
Wednesday at 5pm in Hershey PA at our first hotel. This was our
check-in location where we handed out Goodie bags, the new 2022 PCR
Reunion event Charm, enjoyed Pizza and met both new and past Reunion
guests
that were in attendance for our kickoff Meet and Greet !
Over
the next three days, we enjoyed several stops along the way, ending in
Atlantic City, NJ for the last 2 nights. Our closing banquet
was held on Saturday night. Paid PCR members in attendance
also received a "special item" as a thank-you for their PCR
membership and support.
Sadly, our original plan to attend and participate in the annual Ciocca
Corvette Toys for Tots Car show and Corvette Parade did not work out,
since at the last minute they lost their venue due to a scheduling
conflict and had to move their event to the following weekend.
But we were still able to swing by and visit with the
dealership while in town.
The final event attendance
figures this year were :
Total Cars: 23
Number
of Pace Cars: 17
Total People: 44
Here are links to some great event vidoes produced by Dave Nobel.
Thanks Dave, the PCR appreciates your efforts!

A big
thanks to our PCR leadership (including Bruce Jeschke, Gary Artis, and
Vince Sciabica who was our "hands on the ground" assisting with Ciocca
and other venue coordination) for pulling this great event together, as
well as all of those in attendance! We hope everyone had
a great time, and now we take a brief break to get some rest and enjoy
the upcoming
holidays and then our planning starts again for our future event(s)!
